The Riverview Academies provide students with focused studies in the area of Law, Marine & Environmental Science, and Business & Finance. Students will have the opportunity to do executive internships; dual enroll and participate in associated extracurricular activities.
ACADEMY OF MARINE & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE
The Marine Science Academy at Riverview Academy of Math and Science is an exciting and comprehensive educational program designed to cultivate a deep understanding of our planet’s oceans and their vital role in the global environment. Our academy provides high school students with a dynamic and hands-on learning experience that combines rigorous academic coursework with practical fieldwork, laboratory research, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
ACADEMY OF BUSINESS & FINANCE
The Riverview High School Business Academy is a rigorous and engaging program that prepares students for success in the business world. Through a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on projects, and real-world applications, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of business principles and practices. Students will also have a hand in running our school concession stand and earn volunteer hours while gaining experience in the service industry.
ACADEMY OF LAW
The Academy of Legal Studies provides students with career and college preparation and opportunities in the field of law. College-bound students will be provided a foundation for future education in law and politics including public administration, political studies, public policy, as well as preparation for law studies. Students will have the opportunity to intern in law offices and government agencies. Students will learn about criminal and civil law, courtroom procedures, and will also participate on the mock trial team.
