Summer Learning Programs
(SAIL and 3rd Grade Reading Camp)
There are still openings in our summer learning (SAIL) program. SAIL is an optional academic summer program for current K-2 and 4-8 students. All SAIL classes are led by certified RAMS faculty. Dates and times for the program are below. If you are interested in SAIL for your child(ren), please contact the school office as soon as possible to secure a spot!
SAIL Academy for K-2 & 4-8:
June 13th-July 20th
9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for students. (July 4 is a holiday)
Third grade students are invited to join the third grade Summer Reading Camp. This program is required for retained students and available to all third graders. Retained students attend Monday-Thursday and non-retained students attend Tuesday-Thursday. Dates and times are below. If you are interested, please contact the school office as soon as possible to secure a spot!
Summer Reading Camp for 3rd grade retention only:
June 12th-July 20th
9:00AM-12:00PM for students.
(All other 3rd grade students can attend Tuesday-Thursday)

Summer Activities and Resources
Hillsborough Summer Reading Challenge
Hillsborough County has posted the 2023 summer reading challenges. We encourage all students to be active readers over the summer, and the Hillsborough Reading Challenge is a great way to encourage your learner to keep reading. Participants are entered in monthly and grand prize raffles for tablets and laptops!

Governing Board Liaisons
Per F.S.S. 1022.33(9)(p)2. Each charter school’s governing board must appoint a representative to facilitate parental involvement, provide access to information, assist parent s and others with questions and concerns, and resolve disputes. Advantage Academy of Hillsborough, Inc., the governing board for Riverview Academy of Math and Science, Riverview High School, and Big Bend Academy of Math and Science has appointed Maxine Parker (K-5), Kristen Grass (6-12), and Payton Silcox (BBAMS) as the representatives for your student’s school. The governing board representative for Riverview Academy, Riverview Academy High School, and Big Bend Academy of Math and Science may be reached at Liaison@riverviewacademy.com.
