πŸš— Dismissal Do's: Help Us Keep K-5 Carline Moving! πŸš—

To keep dismissal safe and speedy, we need your help with these five quick carline tips:

1. Tag, You’re It — Until You’re Not!
Keep your car tag visible until your child is safely in the car. Once they’re in, remove the tag to let us know you’re ready to go!

2. Sibling Strategy = Smooth Sailing
Students now wait in either their own grade level section or their youngest sibling’s section. This helps kids find each other — and helps you find them faster!
πŸ“See the image below for grade level locations.

3. No Kid Yet? No Problem!
If your child isn’t out when the lane moves, please pull forward to the holding area on the side of the building. We’ll re-enter your car tag and locate your child quickly.

4. Consider Carpooling!
Fewer cars = faster dismissal. If you can carpool with another family, it helps everyone!

5. Make Your Car Stand Out!
If your car is hard for your child to recognize, consider adding a sports flag, bright magnet, or fun decoration so your child can spot you easily.

Car Tag Color Guide for Afternoon Carline:

To help our carline run smoothly, we use color-coded car tags based on the grade levels of your children:

  • πŸ”΅ BLUE Car Tag – 3:00 PM Pickup
If all of your children are in Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade, you should have a BLUE car tag. Please plan to arrive before 3:00 PM to avoid getting caught in the second carline wave. Arriving on time helps keep traffic flowing and prevents delays.

  • 🟑 YELLOW Car Tag – 3:30 PM Pickup
If any of your children are in 3rd grade or higher, you should have a YELLOW car tag.
Middle and high school students do not receive car tags, but if they have elementary siblings, your family should use a YELLOW tag.  Please arrive after 3:15 PM to allow the earlier carline to clear and help traffic move more efficiently.
